The installation of banners, flex boards, decorative flags/festoons, and posters in public places, on roads, footpaths, railings, center medians, and traffic islands is strictly prohibited. A spot fine of ₹5,000 (Five Thousand Rupees) will be levied for each unauthorized board. Furthermore, the cost of removing these boards will be recovered from the offenders, and legal action—including the registration of an FIR with the police and subsequent prosecution—will be initiated against them.
