Special Grama Sabha Organized

A Special Grama Sabha was organized in Azhiyur Grama Panchayat as part of World Environment Day celebrations. Prioritizing cleanliness and sustainable development, the topic 'Clean and Green Village' was presented at the Grama Sabha.
The message presented emphasized that major changes against climate change can be brought about not individually, but through collective local actions. It also highlighted simple things each of us can do to protect our nature, such as completely avoiding plastic and using reusable materials, conserving energy and water without wasting them, and planting and nurturing more trees.
Panchayat Secretary Mr. Thouseef V. welcomed the gathering at the Grama Sabha, and Panchayat Vice President Mrs. Ramya Karodi presided over the function. Development Standing Committee Chairman Mr. P. Sreedharan, Health and Education Standing Committee Chairman Mr. P. P. Sreedharan, and Welfare Standing Committee Chairperson Mrs. Wafa Faisal spoke at the event.
Panchayat Health Inspector Vigisha Gopalan and NREGS (Employment Guarantee Scheme) Overseer Ranjith Kumar presented the topic. Various Panchayat members participated in the program. Panchayat Assistant Secretary Mr. Fazal T. P. expressed the vote of thanks.
